Do I need papers or immigration status to get help?
No. Our forms never ask about immigration status or Social Security numbers. We only use your information to help you, and we do not share it without your permission.
Do your services cost anything?
No. All our services and programs are free.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. We serve you in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.
Who can ask for help?
Anyone who needs support. Our doors are open to everyone. We serve Burke, Catawba, Caldwell, McDowell Counties in Western North Carolina.
How do I ask for help?
Fill out the "Get help" form on this site, ask us to call you, or call (828) 578-9794. Someone from our team will contact you.
How can I donate?
You can give online with PayPal, or drop off groceries, toys, educational materials, gift cards and auction items at 406 East Fleming Drive, Morganton, NC.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Raíces Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 42-4070128. Your gift may be tax-deductible as allowed by law.
How can I volunteer?
Fill out the volunteer form and tell us when you are available and what you enjoy doing. We will contact you.
Where are you located?
We are based in Burke County, North Carolina. Donations are received at 406 East Fleming Drive, Morganton, NC, and each event lists its own location on the Events page.
